Art of Tiki Commemorative Mug

This mug was created to commemorate the release of Sven Kirsten + Otto Von Stroheim’s book, The Art of Tiki, + the exhibition of the same name held at our gallery, La Luz de Jesus, in 2017. The mug design is based upon a Milan Guanko Tiki featured on a menu cover of the former Islands Restaurant in Phoenix, AZ. It is also part of the wonderful art contained within the the book! The outside features a semi-gloss tan glaze with a dark brown wash + the inside is a dark brown gloss. Each mug comes with an Art of Tiki Mug bookmark. The mug stands 8 inches tall + holds about 10 ounces.
